On Saturday the twenty third of February 20 individuals completed Skywarn training at the National Weather Service office in State College, PA.

Twenty people attended, nineteen were amateur radio operators.  Attendees were from Centre, Blair, Clinton, and Clearfield counties.  Thanks to Peter Jung,  NWS Warning Coordinator for arranging and presenting the program and to NWS for letting us use their conference room.  Many of the participants already had Skywarn training and were refreshing their knowledge.  Others were there for the first time.

Even the Weather Service equipment can sometimes be a victim of the weather.
