Carmine, K3CWP, and Elaine, K3ERP, assisted amateur radio operators providing communications for the Ironstone 100K Ultramarathon race at Aid Station 3, Mt. Etna Station on the Lower Trail.

The race is 100 kilometers, over 62 miles.  While we spent four and one half hours at the station the runners ran for 23 hours over wildly different terrain and elevations.  Amateur radio communications were supervised by Kevin, W3XOX, Blair County ARRL EC.
